How to see (restore) saved passwords in browser

Google Chrome

  1. Open Google Chrome browser
  2. Click on the Menu icon and choose “Settings”
  3. Click “Show advanced settings”
  4. In a section “Passwords and forms” click on “Manage passwords”
  5. In a saved passwords list click on the needed one and press “Show”
  6. The password will be shown in the same field.
  7. Click “Done” to finish and close “Settings”page

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Open Mozilla Firefox browser
  2. Click on the Menu icon and choose “Settings”
  3. From the left side menu choose “Security
  4. In a “Passwords” section click on a button “Saved Passwords...”
  5. Press “Show passwords”
  6. In a new window “Confirm” click “yes” to confirm showing passwords
  7. All the passwords will be shown in the same list of saved passwords.

Opera

  1. Open Opera browser
  2. On the left upper corner press “Opera” and choose “settings”
  3. Choose “Privacy & security” settings
  4. in a “Passwords” section click on “Manage saved passwords”
  5. Move mouse over the needed website and username and click “Show” button
  6. Password will be shown in the same field
  7. Click “Done” when finished

Internet Explorer 10, 11

  1. Open Internet Explorer browser
  2. On the right upper corner click on the “Tools” icon and choose “Internet options”
  3. Open “Content” tab and on the “Auto Complete” section press “Settings” button
  4. Press “Manage passwords” button
  5. New window will be opened, choose “Web Credentials” and you will see all the saved passwords
    by clicking on the “down arrow” more information is available, so click this icon
  6. Then press “Show” to show the password
