How to see (restore) saved passwords in browser
Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome browser
- Click on the Menu icon and choose “Settings”
- Click “Show advanced settings”
- In a section “Passwords and forms” click on “Manage passwords”
- In a saved passwords list click on the needed one and press “Show”
- The password will be shown in the same field.
- Click “Done” to finish and close “Settings”page
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Mozilla Firefox browser
- Click on the Menu icon and choose “Settings”
- From the left side menu choose “Security
- In a “Passwords” section click on a button “Saved Passwords...”
- Press “Show passwords”
- In a new window “Confirm” click “yes” to confirm showing passwords
- All the passwords will be shown in the same list of saved passwords.
Opera
- Open Opera browser
- On the left upper corner press “Opera” and choose “settings”
- Choose “Privacy & security” settings
- in a “Passwords” section click on “Manage saved passwords”
- Move mouse over the needed website and username and click “Show” button
- Password will be shown in the same field
- Click “Done” when finished
Internet Explorer 10, 11
- Open Internet Explorer browser
- On the right upper corner click on the “Tools” icon and choose “Internet options”
- Open “Content” tab and on the “Auto Complete” section press “Settings” button
- Press “Manage passwords” button
- New window will be opened, choose “Web Credentials” and you will see all the saved passwords
by clicking on the “down arrow” more information is available, so click this icon - Then press “Show” to show the password
