Set up email in macos mail
Before you start configuring IMAP settings in the Mail program, log into the inbox.lv account from a browser and allow external POP3/IMAP/SMTP access to this mailbox. To increase user security, access to the mailbox using the POP3/IMAP/SMTP protocol is prohibited by default
 
 
 

Open the Mail application: Usually found in the "Dock" (taskbar), or you can find it in the "Applications" folder.

Go to the upper left corner of the screen and select the "Mail" section. Then select "Add Account".

 

Select "Other mail account" and press "Continue".

 

Enter the account data: Name, e-mail address and password (passwords must be IMAP specialized). Then click on "Sign in".

 

You will usually be prompted for protocols (IMAP or POP).

Choose IMAP because it will allow you to synchronize data between your email server and your computer.

For incoming and outgoing server, enter: mail.inbox.eu

Then click on "Sign in".
