Is it possible to check e-mail using mail programs installed on computer or phone (outlook, thunderbird, thebat etc.)?

Inbox.eu offers access to email via POP3/POP3s/IMAP. To configure the mail program and view the contents of your Inbox.eu mailbox, use the following settings:

Incoming mail (POP3s)

- E-mail address: username@your_domain_name (piemēram, info@domain.com)
- Username: login@inbox.eu
In a mail program asked login and password is the same as your mailbox login and password on inbox.eu

- POP3 server: mail.inbox.eu
- IMAP server - mail.inbox.eu

- SMTP server: mail.inbox.eu

Port of POP3s server: 995 (using SSL encryption) More about POP3s
Port of IMAPs server: 993 (using SSL encryption)
Port of SMTPs server with TLS support: 587 or 25 (More about TLS)

*These ports are closed to use for security reasons: POP3 port 110. More

To use SMTP server is necessary to activate authentification of SMTP server. More about SMTP authentification.

In order to ensure users’ safety, default access to mailbox using POP3/SMTP/IMAP protocol is denied. To enable this option, go to “Options”, click “Email forwarding, mail programs, SMS alerts” and choose “Enable external POP3/IMAP and SMTP access”. External POP3/SMTP/IMAP access will be activated in 15 minutes.

More information:

There are email sending restrictions on SMTP server – max 15 emails per hour.

To access e-mail server you must use Your inbox.eu username and password in your client program.

Due to the limitations of POP3 protocol, it is impossible to check one mailbox on two different computers simultaneously.

Attention! If user gets status "inactive" - pop3 access turns off.

If active user don't use pop3 access for 2 months - pop3 access turns off.
